Alex, an ex-journalist in his fifties in anger management therapy meets a twenty-something handyman, Rémi, who is the spitting image of his deceased lover. He invites him over to his country house under the pretext of some repairs to do. In the surrounding forest, gardens grow back to life, Alex's vulnerability is exposed and love develops. But the contradiction at the base of their relationship makes it an unsolvable and destructive conundrum. Is Alex falling for Rémi or for his deceased lover's apparent reincarnation ?
